Thiseldo is a small collection of contemporary getaways in the UK, embedded in their scenic surroundings they calm the distractions of modern life enabling you to reconnect. Our beach chalet is clean and modern, it changes over the day as it reflects the ever evolving beachscape metres away. Immersed in nature our lakeside cabin is contemporary and simple, speckled with dappled sunlight falling through the surrounding trees.

Reflecting uninterrupted views of turquoise and glittering sand metres away, Chalet Thisedlo boasts an enviable sunset soaking spot on Hayle's three mile beach. This clean and modern chalet was built as a lens for ogling the ever changing shoreline whilst located suitably for all of your Cornish adventures.

ABOUT US

Each Thiseldo property was designed and built to stand the test of time by "The Hoxbys". Chelsie and Gary each have creative industry backgrounds, they are design-conscious characters with an eye for quality and detail. Their goal is to create small holiday homes to not only enjoy with their two young children, but to share with a wider community or likeminded people.

Finally managed to breathe and find some peace at Coach House 50, Cabin Thiseldo on Fritton Lake. Nestled in among the trees on the edge of the lake this cabin feels like a sanctuary welcoming you in after a long drive. The modern scandi interior gives you a sense of space and luxury but is robust enough to withstand the kind of rough and tumble living that comes with the under 8's. With the BBQ going and the kids running in and out of the open bifolds, it didnt take long for us to think of it as a home away from home. We fell in love with the serene beauty of Fritton Lake Retreats, you can actually enjoy everything as advertised (without the need to book the tennis courts or pool weeks ahead). Chic and understated, the kids and I want to get back as soon as we can...but shhh don't let too many people know (I can't however imagine it will remain off radar too long!)Read more

What a truly magical visit we had to this beautiful part of Cornwall and this incredible beach house and its breathtaking view. Dinner picnics and BBQs on the beach of Hayle with the sunset. A true holiday! Would love to revisit soon.

For a lovely, relaxing break you could not wish for a better place than Cabin Thiseldo at Fritton Lake. The cabin is stunning with big windows giving access to fantastic views of the lake, deer and birds - nature at its best and calmest. Nice, gentle walks around the site and lots of laid back facilities and activities. We spent a lovely five days at the luxurious cabin. What a fabulous setting, so relaxing sitting in the hot tub taking in the stunning views of the lake. The new shop on site “Valentine & Silver” have a good selection of frozen meals made from local produce for you to cook in the cabin; we tried the beef stroganoff it was delicious. Lots to see and do in and around Fritton Lake we didn’t want to leave.

Happiness is most definitely a cabin by the lake with family. We've had the most wonderful time relaxing in nature. This place is restorative. The first morning a deer ambled up to the cabin and all you can hear is wind in the leaves, birds singing and the odd bee buzzing. It was everything we could have imagined and more, what a magical place this is.
