Where are the keys?
Each property will be locked ahead of your arrival. Your keys will be collected from reception. For emergencies there is a key box at the property, the code can be obtained from the site management.
How do I heat the place?
Our properties are incredibly thermally efficient, so will not require much effort to heat, even on the coldest of days.
Each property has manual electric plinth heaters. They do not turn off automatically, so be sure to turn off when you are warm enough.
The Norfolk cabin also has a wood burning stove, you can take your own logs or buy from the Clubhouse team.
How do I use the wood stove in Norfolk?
OPEN STOVE DOOR SLOWLY TO PREVENT SPREAD OF ASH & KEEP STOVE DOOR CLOSED AT ALL TIMES.
Primed the stove with logs and kindling before use. Then all you will have to do is light it and keep feeding it with logs. The dial at the bottom of the stove controls air intake, and therefore how hot it can get – the more central the dial the cooler, the more to the right the warmer.
Cooking
Your cabin has an electric oven and induction hobs. Ensure the switch in the kitchen area is turned on.
Norfolk has a ceramic barbeque on the decking, please bring your own charcoal if you intend to use it. Please do not use briquettes as they will cause damage.
Do not cook on the log burners, and do not use them on the decking area.
